  • Method 1: Consider February 28 to March 28 as one month, plus 3 additional days, totaling 1 month and 3 days.

  • Method 2: Treat both February 28 and March 31 as month-ends, resulting in exactly 1 month.

Both methods are valid; the choice depends on the context of the calculation.
